Someone once said "to get somewhere you have got to make the first step" and this first step is one of the most difficult to make when trying to explain BCP.

Once you have passed this first step I won't say is all downhill from there (to continue with the sayings), but you have accomplished a long way after that first step. Definition Purpose and Process by John Glenn is a clear and thorough explanation of what a BCP is and is very useful to make that first step when trying to convince someone of the need of a BCP.
